Incorporated in 1995, the BMEF is an independent, not for profit charitable organization whose purpose is to provide funds to enhance education throughout the Briarcliff Manor School District. Recognizing that education evolves to include sophisticated research and technology, the BMEF works in cooperation with the School District to support the District and provide those resources that our students require to remain on the leading edge of public school education. Through an annual grant process, the BMEF funds diverse projects, materials and equipment that could not otherwise be funded through the school budget. Among the programs made possible by funding from the BMEF are the Singapore Math Program for k-6th grade students, Science 21 at Todd and the Middle School, the Outdoor Classroom at the Middle School. Sensors and Probes for Science at Todd and BMS, Todd Literary Magazine, the Jacob Burns Partnership at Todd and the Middle School, as well as many programs at the High School including the Wise Senior Internship program, World of Difference, Forensics, Engineering, Film and Video, and the Science Research Center. Listed below is a history of the many grants funded by the BMEF.

To date the BMEF has funded nearly $1 million in grants to the three schools in the Briarcliff School District. With your support the BMEF will continue its mission to enhance educational opportunities in the Briarcliff School District.
